Willow on my work table
The "me" half of Willow and Me is Lisa Salsbury.  I am a
mostly self-taught jewelry designer, although I have taken
several classes in different mediums, including PMC (Precious
Metal Clay), in which I received my certification in March of
2009.  For more information on PMC and the certification
process, see
this page.  I have been pursuing various
artistic endeavors for many years, but have only  recently
discovered beading and jewelry making.

After purchasing several pieces of jewelry that broke after
wearing only a couple of times, I decided to experiment with
making jewelry and especially to make it more durable.  I
began experimenting with designs and techniques and
discovered my love for flower and leaf-shaped beads, as well
as Swarovski crystal and vintage beads.  The more I made
and gave as gifts, the more I was told I should sell my
pieces.
About us
Willow and Me Jewelry
Unique hand-crafted jewelry and other fun stuff!
What's New?
Thus Willow and Me Jewelry was born!   The name comes from
my cat, and constant companion, Willow.  My first "studio" was
in my laundry room, and Willow could often be found asleep in
my lap, in a bed beside my work area or else draped across my
current project.

I have now combined my studio and office (which was in my
kitchen) to a spare room in my home.  Along with necessities,
such as a work table and desk for myself, there is also a large
cat tree, a sunny window seat and a small fountain where
Willow likes to drink.  She doesn't spend as much time draped
across my beads because she has so many other places to
lounge, but she still loves to sit on my desk and bat at my
cursor or walk on my keyboard.  For more information and
pictures of Willow, please see
Willow's page.
I have been blessed with very supportive family and friends who have been guinea pigs and critics for my designs.   My
friend and massage therapist, Nadine Burgess, first offered to have a small display of my jewelry in her office, and I am
very grateful to her and to all of her clients who first purchased my pieces.

I sell my pieces at arts and craft sales, as well as at
www.willowandme.etsy.com.    To see a list of upcoming events at
