Class Policies:
- Pre-Registration and payment is required for all classes.
- Deadline for registration and payment is one week prior to the first scheduled class.
- Unless otherwise indicated, class fees DOES NOT INCLUDE supplies. A list of suggested supplies will be provided upon registration
and students will be given the option of purchasing the supplies themselves or through the studio. Payment for supplies is
expected at the beginning of class. Please be sure to let us know if you will be needing supplies so we can be sure to have enough. - Tools: A list of suggested tools will be provided. The studio has a limited amount of tools available for student use. A basic tool kit
will be offered to students who wish to purchase their tools through the studio. - Class fees are non-refundable. If a class is missed, another may be taken in its place if the student wishes.
- Cancellations: Class will be cancelled due to weather if Ellsworth Adult Education is cancelled (weekdays). Weekend classes will be
announced on our Facebook page and via email. Non-weather related cancellations: We will make every effort to notify all students
via email, Facebook and telephone.

Notes about supplies and tools:
Unless otherwise indicated, supplies and tools are not included in the class fee. Each class will have different requirements, but most
metal clay classes require the same tools. Students may purchase their supplies and tools from the studio, but are not required to do so.
A list of recommended tools and favorite vendors is here. If you would like to purchase a tool kit for your class through the studio, you
may do so below and it will be ready for you at class. Because of the volatility of the metals markets, metal clay that is not included in
the class fee must be paid for at class time. If supplies (especially metal clay) are not included in the class fee, please let us know ahead
of time if you would like to purchase the supplies through the studio so that we can be sure there will be enough for everyone.
The studio has many things available for students to use including: Playing cards, water spritzers, work surfaces, many textures and
molds, shape templates, a drying surface, non-stick mediums, plastic wrap, plastic cups, etc.
Students may wish to purchase their own rollers, cutters, etc. We do have a few available at the studio, but cannot always guarantee
there will be enough to go around. We have put together a list of our favorite tools which can be found here. A kit including many of
those things is offered to students as a convenience.
IMPORTANT: Tools used with bronze and copper should be washed thoroughly before use with silver. Certain tools such as wire
brushes, paintbrushes, filing and sanding supplies, etc. should not be shared between bronze and copper and silver as the silver may
become contaminated.
