                  Willow's Page
Willow is a seal point Siamese cat, born in June of 2005.  She has
had her "hand" in every aspect of jewelry designing, but she is
most interested in quality control.  She enjoys batting and rolling
the beads and dropping them off my work table.  She seems to be
drawn to the Swarovski crystals.

Willow is ever-present in the jewelry making process, from design,
to computer work to shipping.  In fact, you may even find a stray
hair or two in your jewelry box.

When she is not busy supervising the business, she can be found
lounging in the sun, playing with her brother Sammie (our orange
tabby cat) or annoying her other brother Joey (our 17-year old
Balinese).

Thousands of years ago,
cats were worshipped as
gods. Cats have never
forgotten this.

We sadly mourn the loss of our beloved Joey last month, June
2008.  Joey was almost 19 years old and led a long and (we
hope) happy life with us.

Joey was a blue lynx point Balinese who had won a best kitten
of show award before he came to live with us, when he was 11
months old.  He was a very vocal cat, and never missed the
opportunity to check out anyone new in the house and would
talk to anyone who would listen.  He was a very affectionate
and devoted cat, but there was never any doubt who was
boss.  Even Buddy the dog would allow him to eat from his
dish.  He loved to sit on the kitchen stool and watch me make
dinner.  He also loved to sleep in enclosed spaces and we have
found him inside pillowcases on the bed, amongst towels in
the linen closet and in a lump under the covers of our bed.

In his later years, Joey became quite deaf, which made his
voice even louder.  He could sometimes be quite crotchety and
never hesitated to put little Willow in her place if she got too
boisterous for his taste.

The world will certainly be a quieter place and my nights will
surely be much colder without Joey.  We will all miss him.
